A Couple of months ago, I posted on why tech companies need to sort out their communications. Seeing this on the BBC kind of makes me feel vindicated. What the BBC article doesn’t say is quite how dangerous the divide could become.

Example: one of the reasons given for the current round of sub post office closures is that most of the services offered are now available online. However. Most of the people who recieve those services are in the prime “Refusenik” age / social category.

So, I say again, tech companies need to develop a language that doesn’t alienate people, PR has a big role to play in that conversation and it’s important that we don’t forget, not everyone thinks like us.
